Velkommen til Det danske Institut i Athen

Det danske Institut i Athen er både en forskningsinstitution og et kulturinstitut. 
Instituttet har til formål at fremme forskning, undervisning og kulturformidling inden for Grækenlands og Middelhavslandenes arkæologi, historie, sprog, litteratur, billedkunst, arkitektur og kulturtraditioner.
Instituttet er anerkendt af det græske Kulturministerium som arkæologisk skole.
Vi tilbyder ophold til forskere, studerende og kunstnere, vi arrangerer konferencer, udstillinger, kollokvier og kurser, og vi modtager grupper på ekskursion og formidler deres adgang til museer og arkæologiske områder.

Welcome to the Danish Institute at Athens

The Danish Institute at Athens is both an academic institution and a cultural institute.
The Institute supports research and studies in archaeology, history, literature, architecture, art history, cultural tradition and language, as well as the work of Danish creative artists and craftsmen.
The Institute is recognised as an archaeological school by the Greek Ministry of Culture.
We offer accommodation to scholars, students, and artists, and we hold conferences, colloquia, and seminars.
The Institute promotes cultural exchance between Denmark and Greece and organises exhibitions, concerts and other performances on the premises and elsewhere in Athens. Click on "Events" for the current programme.
